Give a style to a dog

2014년부터 반려동물 등록제로 인해 기르는 개, 고양이에 한해 목걸이 인식표나 반려동물 몸안에 정보가 저장된 칩을 삽입하는 법이 추진되었다. 네오팝은 그에 맞는 적합한 아이템으로 LED로 주인의 이름과 전화번호를 입력할 수 있으며, RFID칩이 삽입되어 있어 반려동물 몸에 굳이 칩을 넣지 않아도 되는 유용한 제품이다.

Since 2014, a law has been promoted to insert a chip that stores information in a necklace identification tag or pet's body. Neo-pop is the item for it. You can input your name and phone number to this product which shows those information with LED, and it has RFID chip so that you don't need to insert an identification chip in your pet's body.

Flexible Body

 

네오팝 제품 개발 시 큰 난관이었던 플렉시블한 바디는 반려견 목걸이처럼 사용이 가능하면서 빛이 나와야하는 상황이였기 때문에 딱딱한(hard)한 pcb가 아니라 유연한 pcb로 자유롭게 휘어짐이 가능하며 LED모듈 역시 삽입이 가능한 상태의 솔루션을 제공하였다. 그리고 실리콘 소재를 사용하여 반려동물 피부에 해가 가지 않는 재질을 사용하였다.

It was the biggest problem that we have to put LED lights in the product and make it possible to bend to put around pet's neck. We thought flexible PCB materials are better than hard PCB. With flexible PCB materials, we could suggest a solution that can be bent freely and have LED lights in it. We also used silicon materials not to harm the pet's skin.

Battery Solution

 

LED를 사용함으로서 배터리 소모량에 대한 솔루션이 필요하였다. s2victor에서는 많은 경험을 토대로 교체방식의 배터리 타입이 아닌 충전방식의 배터리 타입을 선정, 그로 인해 배터리의 용량을 늘릴 수 있었고, 용량이 늘어남에 따라 LED 발광의 시간 역시 늘어나는 효과를 보았다.

The use of LED has required a solution for battery consumption. In s2victor, based on our experiences, we selected a chargeable battery type instead of a replaceable battery type, so we could increase the capacity of the battery, and as the capacity increased, the LED emission time also increased.
